Which Courts Does FAI Cover?

FAI holds judgments in two ways: full text mirrored from five Pakistani courts and the Supreme Court of India, and a wider archive of reported judgments. This page says which court is which, and what is not yet included. FAI is not affiliated with any court.

Judgments are mirrored in full from each court's own published records. The mirror is a point-in-time copy refreshed periodically, so a judgment handed down in the last few days may not be there yet.

The Supreme Court of India: full-text judgments are searchable on the Professional and Chambers plans. They are persuasive in Pakistan and never binding. Official site: sci.gov.in.

The reported-judgment archive runs from 1947 onward. It holds reported judgments with their citations and headnote notes from the Supreme Court and the High Courts of Pakistan, including the Sindh High Court and the Balochistan High Court, the courts of Azad Kashmir, the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court, and a range of tribunals. Archive entries give you the citation and the point of law, not the full text of the judgment.

When a judgment is in the full-text mirror, FAI can fetch it from the court record and mark the citation as verified. When it is only in the archive, FAI can show the citation and the point of law and says so, and you should open the judgment from the official source before relying on it.
