The short answer
Choose Pakistan Law Site if…
You need the deepest possible reported case law — every reporter, every province, going back to 1947 — and you are comfortable reading and digesting judgments yourself. Its archive is genuinely larger than ours.
Choose FAI Legal if…
You want a question answered with the statutory text retrieved and the citations checked, at a quarter of the cost, with a free plan to test it first. Its corpus is smaller and it says so.

Where Pakistan Law Site is ahead and it is not close
Pakistan Law Site is a reported-case-law database of long standing, and its archive is substantially deeper than ours in three specific ways:
- It carries every major reporter. Its own site lists ten: PLD, SCMR, CLC, PCrLJ, PTD, PLC, CLD, YLR, MLD and GBLR. FAI indexes judgments mirrored from the courts' published records, not from the reporters.
- It covers courts we do not. The Sindh High Court and the Balochistan High Court are in its record and are absent from ours. So are the Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir and a range of tribunals — service, labour and income tax among them. If your matter is in Karachi or Quetta, FAI will not find the precedent and Pakistan Law Site will.
- It reaches much further back. Its record runs to the 1940s. Ours starts at 1980 at the earliest, and at 2009 for the Lahore and Peshawar High Courts.
If depth of reported case law is the thing you are buying, that is a real argument for paying the higher price, and we would rather say so here than have you discover it after subscribing to us.
Where FAI Legal is ahead
Cost
Rs. 9,900 a year against Rs. 38,000 for a first year on Pakistan Law Site once the registration fee is counted — roughly a quarter of the price. Premium, with document export, is Rs. 14,850.
You can try it for nothing
The Free plan is permanent, not a trial: ten questions a month, no card, no time limit. Pakistan Law Site advertises no free tier, so the first Rs. 11,000 is spent before you know whether it suits you.
It answers, rather than returning results
A search engine hands you a list to read. FAI returns the legal findings, the statutory sections that apply, the judgments on both sides, and the sources used — in that order, every time.
Statutory text is retrieved, not paraphrased
The section text in an answer is the exact text held in the index, and a citation is marked verified only when the judgment was actually retrieved from the court source.
Using both
For a working advocate the combination is often the honest recommendation: FAI to find the governing section and frame the argument quickly and cheaply, Pakistan Law Site when a matter turns on reported precedent from a court or a period we do not mirror. Ten questions a month costs nothing, so there is no reason to choose blind.
What we do not know
Pakistan Law Site does not publish a count of the judgments or statutes it holds, and it does not publish a per-court breakdown. We have not put a number in the table above for that reason. It also advertises no AI features as of 25 August 2026; if that changes, this page is out of date and we would rather you told us than trusted it.
